The human resource and safety director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource and safety functions. The position will partner with the company’s executive team and management to achieve strategic and operational goals of the business and departments.

Aspirus Medford Hospital & Clinics is currently seeking a full time Human Resources Business Partner working 32 hours per week. The position is responsible for Human Resources related activities at the professional level including employment, policy interpretation, training, and employee wellness efforts. The successful individual will partner with management staff, leaders, and employees to develop and facilitate best practices in Human Resources, which enables Aspirus to hire, motivate, reward and retain quality staff.
The qualified candidates will have:
ü Knowledge of employment, recruitment and retention standards and practice and governmental regulations normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business, management, accounting, finance or related field, or experience equivalent to five years in the Human Resources field.
ü Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
ü Effective analytical ability to solve complex problems and issues.
ü Proficient computer skills to include: Microsoft Excel, Word and HRIS software.
ü Interpersonal skill in conflict resolution and dealing successfully with difficult issues.
